2005 Cabarrus Election Challenge II: The Most Popular Question

Thanks for those who put "Cabarrus Election Challenge" off to a good start! For those of you who didn't get a chance to state why you're running - go ahead and post your answer on last week's question.

The next question deals with an issue that was deemed more important than taxation in a recent poll. North Carolina has the fastest growing population of undocumented immigrants in the country. There are many reasons behind this. The government in states along the US-Mexico border are starting to declare states of emergency and giving additional funding for border patrols. Local governments are a little more restricted in what they can do. If elected, what do you plan to do to help manage the challenges our community faces because of increased immigration?
