Positive Messages: Jay White E-mail #3

This is the third of several emails about Jay White, why he is running for County Commissioner , and what he hopes to accomplish. We appreciate all of the support we have received and ask that you continue to forward these emails to help us spread the word about Jay and encourage others to vote for him on November 7th.

Many people have asked us about the voting process. Here are some of the basics:

There are three County Commissioner positions open. 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats are running for these positions. The Republican candidates (in alphabetical order) are: Grace Mynatt, Coy Privette, and Jay White . (They were the top 3 vote getters in the primary.) The two Democratic candidates are: Steve Baldon and Allison Kitfield.

November 7th is the general election. The 3 candidates with the most votes will win the election assuming there is no need for a runoff.

Any person registered to vote in Cabarrus County may vote in the general election.

If you do not know where your voting precinct is located, please contact the Board of Elections at 704-920-2860. You may also go on line to get this information at www.co.cabarrus.nc.us/Elections/voterprecincts.html.

You may vote for up to three county commissioner candidates. You do not, however, have to vote for three. You may vote for one, two or three candidates. I encourage you to educate yourself about the candidates running for office and vote for those you support.

This year’s election is important. Take an active role and make your voice heard in deciding who your County Commissioners will be and what kind of leadership we want making decisions. As a candidate for county commissioner, I'm committed to putting people first and politics second. We already have too many people creating problems; I will be a problem solver.

Don’t sit on the sidelines. We need everyone’s vote on November 7th to ensure Cabarrus County moves in the right direction.
